It's been some time since the Dragon Wars left House Keslar in ruins and House Dalrosh to rule the kingdom. There was peace for a time but the recent rumors surrounding the King's death have left the realm to question if House Dalrosh is truly fitted to rule the kingdom.
Sensing weakness, House Keslar has risen up to secure an alliance with House Ulrich, in order to claim their birthright as the true line to the throne and the balance of power in the realm has shifted. Now the remaining four houses are forced to throw their allegiances in with either side or be swallowed as so many of the older houses have.
The realm is on the brink of a war that will only be won with Blood & Steel.
